The room comes first
Crewblobambootowr is an independent information website about luxury home arcade rooms. We write for homeowners shaping a personal space and interior designers translating play into a coherent domestic brief.
Our focus sits between the equipment catalogue and the finished-room photograph. We ask how a cabinet changes a route, how a screen affects the lighting plan and how a group uses the room when not everyone is playing. Custom cabinets, retro systems and bespoke finishes are parts of that larger experience.
Practical before spectacular
Our guides favour shortlists, physical mock-ups and clear questions for makers. We distinguish acoustic absorption from isolation, display compatibility from connector shape and equipment ownership from software rights. Where a decision depends on the building, local rules or specialist assessment, we say so.
We do not present our articles as a site survey, technical certification or commissioned design service. Electrical work, structural questions, hazardous repairs and regulatory compliance require appropriately qualified professionals. Good editorial guidance helps you brief those people; it does not replace them.
Independent, not affiliated
References to Nintendo, Sega, Sony, Sanwa, Seimitsu and other manufacturers identify relevant products or design considerations. Crewblobambootowr is not affiliated with or endorsed by those organisations. Their names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
We do not sell cabinets or game collections through this website. The guides are intended to help readers compare options, not to imply that one brand is right for every household. Photographs convey domestic atmosphere; they are not a portfolio of projects delivered by us.
Useful technical starting points include the MAME project, the ISO 354 standard overview and NSAI. Consult current primary documentation for your specific equipment and project.
